His eyes became tranquil and started to smile
Oh fear not young lassie sit down for a while

I worked all my life in the distillery
As so did my grandpa and my dad before me
We took pride in our whisky elixir of life
A family tradition without any strife

Full barrels of whisky are left to mature
For many a year till the single malt´s pure
But some of it vanishes into thin air
And that´s what is known as the angels share

The angels watched over me through out the years
When I got fired they shed no tears
There´s gratitude for you no more I will spare
You´ve had more than enough of your angels share

So now bonnie lassie let´s drink to your health
I bid you good fortune a long life and wealth
You look like an angel, got a wee dram to spare
